After graduating from university, Keizo OGARA worked in the development of office equipment at a major precision machinery manufacturer. Then, in 2002, he started working in the intellectual property department, where he was engaged in work related to patent prosecution including seeking out potential inventions, filing patent applications, and responding to office actions, and he also handled litigation cases. He joined Sonoda & Kobayashi in 2021.
