PROFILE_placeholder企業にて医薬研究開発に従事後、防衛医科大学校にて教官を勤める。ムスカリン性アセチルコリン受容体のリン酸化の研究により博士号を取得。米国コロラド大学ヘルスサイエンスセンター、イリノイ大学シカゴ校にてＧタンパク質に関わるシグナル伝達機構の研究を行う。帰国後、国立精神・神経センター、東京都精神医学総合研究所にて脳由来神経栄養因子（ＢＤＮＦ）の作用機構、生体分子の１分子イメージング解析の研究に従事。2013年、当事務所に入所。
