Osamu Yanaka will write a series of articles for the Nippon Intellectual Property Translation Journal.
These articles will attempt to provide background information on the specifications of the ten great inventors presented by the Japan Patent Office and sample translations thereof. The fifth article focuses on the patent specification filed in 1911 by Dr. Umetaro Yamada, the father of vitamin research in Japan.
