After graduating from university, Makoto Tamura worked at an automobile component maker, where he developed a new type of car air-conditioning system. He then entered the intellectual property field in 2001 and handled patent applications in various technical fields, from specification drafting to acquiring patent rights, for both domestic and international clients. He joined Sonoda & Kobayashi in 2018, and is in charge of patent applications in mechanical and electrical fields.
